Dave Shook talks about his inexplicable, remarkable life. Barely making it out of high school, Shook earned a college degree, ultimately a Masters, became a probation officer and then took the lessons of a career on the streets, carrying a badge and gun, to collegiate tennis. By the time he retired, he was one of the best known, successful DI coaches in the sport, even though he had to teach himself how to play.
